Valerie is a proud Dallas resident and experienced electrologist with over 9 years of professional experience. With her educational background in biology and over 600 hours of on-the-job apprenticeship, she earned her certified membership with the American Electrology Association in 2014. She started in the electrolysis business as a loyal client, so she knows what clients want in an electrologist! She was hired at a small start-up clinic that allowed her to learn all aspects of a new electrolysis business. She managed day-to-day operations, scheduled and treated patients every day. She helped grow the business and provided top-notch permanent hair removal for hundreds of clients over the years. In 2016, she was elected President of the Texas Association of Professional Electrologists and also sat as a National Board Member for the American Electrology Association.
After several years working for someone else, Valerie leaped and opened her salon, Hair & Now Electrolysis. Her salon provides top-notch treatment in a spa-like setting with the latest permanent hair removal equipment. Valerie has learned that customer service is key. She will provide exceptional service and guarantee her work to be second to none!

Curly and coarse hairs are more prone to become ingrown or cause raised bumps on your skin. These types of hair are often associated with darker skin tones, resulting in fewer options for safe and effective hair removal. Fortunately, electrolysis - the only permanent hair-removal method - works on all skin tones and all types of hair.
